CCA Digital Residency 2023: Peter Glasgow

CCA Derry~Londonderry is delighted to announce that our first Digital Resident of 2023, artist Peter Glasgow, will be in residence from Monday 28 August 2023 until Friday 8 September 2023. 

During his residency, Peter will gather and develop a collection of thoughts, ideas and sounds arising from his research into the pedal steel guitar. He will be exploring the guitar’s context within country music, the magic of its operation, and the gap between the mechanics of this unique instrument and the ever-shifting and emotive sound that it makes.

The resulting arrangement from Peter’s residency will be shared publicly on CCA’s website CCADLD.org at the culmination of the two weeks, on Monday 11 September 2023.
