We are delighted to be hosting more CCA Supports events in the new year. Our Director Catherine Hemelryk is running the next series of 1-2-1 Surgeries and a tax return help desk for those needing help with completing their self-assessment before the end of January 2021. Our Public Programmes Curator Laura McCafferty is facilitating the next crit group in February 2021. See below for details of each event and the links for booking a free spot.

CCA Supports: Surgeries

Wednesdays 6 & 13 January 2021, 2pm–4pm
Sessions starting at 2pm, 2.30pm, 3pm, 3.30pm

Our next batch of 1-2-1 surgeries are for artists who want to chat about their work, or receive critical and practical advice from CCA’s Director Catherine Hemelryk. We will have four slots available per day, each lasting for 25 minutes. The Zoom invitation will be sent to participants in advance of their time slots.

Free tickets will be available from our Online Shop here.

CCA Supports: Tax return help desk

Fridays 8 & 15 January 2021, 1pm–3pm
The deadline for Self-Assessment tax returns in 31 January 2021. Following on from last year’s Tax Return 101 sessions, artists and creative freelancers having to complete and submit annual tax returns are welcome to book a virtual desk at CCA. Operating through Zoom, you can book in to a 45 minute session to focus on completing your tax return. This is not an advice session as the session is for you to work on your own tax return, however, CCA’s Director Catherine Hemelryk will be on hand to provide tips if you need help understanding any sections. Four places, or desks, are available per session. Sessions last for 45 minutes.
Free tickets will be available from our Online Shop here.

CCA Supports: Crit group

Fridays 12 & 19 February 2021, 10am–12:15pm

CCA is hosting another two-part online crit group for artists and creatives at any stage of their career who are trying something new. The crit group is being held over the two Fridays with eight artists presenting per session. Across the two sessions, eight artists in total will share a piece of their work with the rest of the group facilitated by CCA Public Programmes Curator Laura McCafferty. Participants would need to be available for both sessions. This is a platform for artists to receive feedback and the chance to generate a discussion around your work. The Zoom link for this event will go live and be sent to you on the day.

Free tickets are available from our Online Shop here.
