Pride at CCA

CCA is a long standing supporter of Pride in our city. This year CCA hosted a range of activities to mark the occasion, creating a relaxed and safe environment for participants to celebrate Pride.

To mark the beginning of our Pride celebrations, we held an event by CCA Youth Collective and Independent Pride Derry which involved an afternoon of weaving Pride flag inspired wall-hangings. Arts facilitator Jack McGarrigle led the workshop, showing the group how to prepare hand looms, and weaving techniques.

We also hosted a Queer Families Art Dance, held by The Rainbow Project NI for the Foyle Pride Programme.
