We need your egg shells

Artist Sinéad Smyth needs your egg shells! 

Sinéad is using eggshells to collect rainwater and to grind the shells with the rainwater to create a chalk. The eggshell chalk will be used for a temporary public drawing as well as for an 'en plein air' drawing workshop!

To contribute your eggshells, please drop them off at CCA, washed and crushed in an airtight bag. Eggshells are gladly accepted between now and 10 September 2024 either in person during CCA's opening hours (noon–6pm Tuesday–Saturday) or by post.

The drawing workshop will take place on Thursday 19 September 2024, 6:30–8:30. Meet at CCA Derry~Londonderry and join Sinéad and others for an evening's drawing in the open air followed by tea at CCA. It is free to join and all abilities welcome.
