CCA Introducing: Niall McLaughlin

Announcing our next CCA Introducing artist, Niall McLaughlin! Niall will be taking over CCA's Instagram throughout the day on Monday 15 July 2024.

Niall McLaughlin (b.1997) is an artist based in Derry. His work is concerned with the act of looking and the illusionary nature of painting. When making work he aims to find balance between the constraints of rendering pre-existing imagery and the playful improvisation which painting allows.

Niall will be using the CCA Introducing takeover to focus some of his thoughts around what he makes in his studio, offering some clarity into his practice
