For Derry Halloween 2024 CCA welcomes artist Indigo Azidahaka to deliver Stick it to yer Ghost. These free, fun and creative workshops are for families and children of all ages. Children will make imaginative, ghostly creations using a variety of materials - including fabrics rescued from landfill, styrofoam balls, pipe cleaners and ribbons!
These drop-in workshops are creative, fun and suitable for all levels of ability. No need to book! All welcome! This workshop takes place at CCA Derry~Londonderry, 10–12 Artillery Street, Derry~Londonderry, BT48 6RG. Find us here! This event forms part of the Derry Halloween Festival. Indigo Azidahaka is a multi-disciplinary visual and performance artist based in Belfast. Their zero waste practice is informed by queer identity, disabled bodies and displacement. Within their work, Indigo explores society and the human condition, isolating key behaviours and rituals and analysing their cause and affect through psychology and absurdity. Indigo is currently a member of Platform Art Gallery, and Catalyst, and is part of the Emerging Artist programme at Flax.
