Maiko Tanaka
Amsterdam-based curator Maiko Tanaka takes up her practice as a public, political, and collective form of research enabling the production of new subjectivities and aesthetic forms. Between 2010 and 2012, she collaborated with Binna Choi on Casco’s The Grand Domestic Revolution, a long-term “living research” residency, project exhibition, publications series and tour, based in Utrecht. Tanaka undertakes research in the city in preparation for bringing The Grand Domestic Revolution here in the Winter of 2013. She gives a public presentation on the project.
The Grand Domestic Revolution GOES ON is a collaboration between CCA, Derry~Londonderry, Casco, Utrecht, and the Showroom, London, with the supported of Arts Council England, Arts Council of Northern Ireland, and the City of Culture 2013.
