Microbe Menu - Intergenerational Food Fermenting Workshop
This intergenerational food-fermenting workshop is open to adults and children from age 6 (accompanied by parents). Artist and fermentation enthusiast Martha Lewtas will talk about the beneficial effects of bacteria, provide samples, and guide participants through making their own fermented foods.
Taking place alongside CCA’s current exhibition, Kills 99.9% of bacteria, this hands-on workshop is suitable for all ages. Learn about the trillions of bacterial organisms that live inside our bodies and the amazing and delicious ways that bacteria and yeasts can transform food!
From 2pm to 3:30pm. £3 cost for materials.
This intergenerational workshop takes place as part of the NI Science Festival. Bookings through the NI Science Festival here.
