Self published by artist Ben Duax in an edition of 50, Masks is a booklet made up of oil pastel copies of Paul Klee's Mask painting. Multiple drawings are based on the same painting interspersed with depictions of cartoon characters and still life images.

Ben Duax is originally from San Francisco, and currently lives in Glasgow where he completed his Masters of Fine Art at Glasgow School of Art. He recently mounted a collection of paintings in a cemetery north of San Francisco which included QRC codes leading to a soundtrack by electronic drone musicians Mondo Lava. He also manages the Butterbiggens Prize, an online bursary and archive for emerging painters.
