'no place I'm going to' guest publication – Ruth Jones, Declan Sheehan, aimnín
Description
Starting with discussion of two ritual artworks, and a séance, no place I’m going to contains three meditations. These explore liminality, the philosophy of Emmanuel Levinas, metaphor as death, spiritualism, the interconnection of presence and absence, and the existential unknowable. Created in the early Millenium for Derry’s vanished Context Gallery, the book is itself a revenant, a shade returned to whisper of worlds before, beyond, and behind the surface shine of the contemporary. Authored by Ruth Jones, Declan Sheehan, and aimnín.
